Elementary Special Education Teacher (Self-Contained Classroom)
The Southampton Township School District is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Elementary Special Education Teacher for a self-contained classroom for the 2026–2027 schoolyear. The ideal candidate will be committed to meeting the diverse academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of students with disabilities in a structured, supportive environment. The successful candidate will provide individualized and small-group instruction to students with a range of disabilities, implement IEPs with fidelity, and create a safe, inclusive classroom that supports student growth and independence.
Qualifications
- Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate with:
- K–6 Elementary Certification
- Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) Endorsement or Teacher of the
- Handicapped Certification
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Experience working with students in a self-contained or specialized setting preferred
- Strong understanding of behavior management strategies and interventions (e.g., PBIS, ABA principles preferred)
- Ability to differentiate instruction for a wide range of learning needs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Knowledge of Readers and Writers Workshop preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct instruction in core academic areas aligned with New Jersey Student
Learning Standards
- Differentiate curriculum and instruction to meet individual student needs
- Utilize data to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Implement behavior intervention plans and support positive student behavior
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development

Substitute Part-Time Driver Needed – Student Transportation
We are seeking a reliable and responsible substitute driver to transport students safely to and from school. This position is ideal for retirees or stay-at-home parents on an “as needed basis”.
Type: Southampton Township School District
Rate: $22/hr
Responsibilities:
- Pick up and drop off students at designated locations
- Ensure the safety of all passengers at all times
- Maintain a clean and well-kept vehicle (provided by the District)
- Follow all traffic laws and school transportation guidelines
Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years old and have a valid New Jersey driver’s license for at least 3 years
- Clean driving record for the previous five years
- Experience driving children preferred
- Punctual, dependable, and courteous
- Must pass background check, child abuse record information check and provide a physical exam annually

Administrative Assistant to the Principal (Grades K–3)
We are seeking a warm, highly organized, and dependable Administrative Assistant to support the Principal in a lower elementary school serving students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade. This role is key to creating a welcoming, efficient, and well-run front office environment for young students, families, and staff and is a full-time, 12-month position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct administrative support to the Principal, including managing calendars,
scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence - Maintain accurate and confidential student and staff records, including attendance,
registrations, and enrollment files - Organize and manage office systems, files, and confidential documentation
- Serve as the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors with a friendly,
efficient and professional demeanor - Answer phones, respond to emails, and route inquiries appropriately
- Assist with coordination of school events, meetings, and communications
- Support daily school operations in a busy, fast-paced environment, managing multiple
tasks and priorities efficiently - Assist with data entry, report preparation, and general clerical duties
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy school setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially when working with young
children and families - Proficiency in standard office software (e.g.,Google Workspace (including Docs, Sheets

Qualifications:
