Special Education Teacher (K-6)
Start Date: Immediate Opening (tenure track)
The Southampton Township School District is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold NJ K–6 Certification, along with either a Special Education Endorsement or a Teacher of the Handicapped (TOH) Endorsement.
Position Overview:
The Special Education Teacher will provide individualized instruction, develop IEPs, support
diverse learners, and collaborate with staff and families to ensure every student receives the
tools they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
Qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey K–6 Elementary Certification
- Special Education Endorsement or Teacher of the Handicapped (TOH) Endorsement
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to inclusive education and student growth
Responsibilities Include:
- Designing and delivering differentiated instruction
- Developing and implementing IEPs
- Providing targeted academic and behavioral support
- Collaborating with general education teachers and CST members
- Maintaining accurate records and progress monitoring

Long-Term Middle School PE/Health Teacher
The Southampton Township School District is seeking a dynamic and energetic Long-Term Middle School Physical Education/Health Teacher (grades 6-8) effective January 2026 through June 2026.
Applicants must possess a New Jersey Standard Certificate, Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing or Certificate of Eligibility. Successful candidates must pass a criminal history background check.
